Popular file syncing service.
This package will update existing Dropbox profiles and install Dropbox per machine, rather than per user.
Dropbox account is required to use the application.
If a user is logged on at the time of the install, PDQ Deploy will attempt to restart Dropbox after deployment.
This package will delete the auto update tasks in Task Scheduler though removing these tasks doesn't guarantee that auto updating will not take place. To completely remove auto update you may need to disable the dbupdate and dbupdatem services. Doing this may cause unwanted behavior in Dropbox.
Possible installation issues on Vista. Dropbox is not supported on Windows Server operating systems.
Version 31.4.24 has an observed issue where it logs an excessive number of events in the event log. This is an improvement from version 29 where events were thrown every second. Version 30 now appears to log events every 60 seconds. To address this issue we encourage you to contact Dropbox support.
